At the core of Las Tapias' offerings is their signature Tapia Taco and Taco Birria. Customers are repeatedly enchanted by the juicy, tender beef that bursts with deep, savory flavors seasoned just right to create what many describe as some of the best birria tacos in Columbus. The tacos arrive piping hot, often paired with a flavorful Consome — a rich, aromatic broth perfect for dipping and enhancing every bite. For those seeking an adventurous touch, Las Tapias enriches the traditional with unique sides and accompaniments such as the Chamoy Rim Dip and their homemade Red Sauce, both adding vibrant tang and zest to each taco. To complement the robust flavors, their refreshing beverage lineup is exceptional. Standouts include the lightly sweet Coconut Horchata, the floral notes of the Hibiscus Long Island, and the thirst-quenching Watermelon Lemonade. Each drink balances the rich and spicy profiles of the food beautifully.
Las Tapias also delights with its sweet finish. Their dessert, La Chona Belgium waffle topped with toasty coconut pineapple ice cream, homemade caramel, and coconut flakes, is a tropical, indulgent treat that perfectly balances warmth and creaminess. Priced at just $6.99, it’s a perfect way to complete your meal on a blissful note.

Don’t let the small menu fool you—the birria tacos were absolutely to die for! They were juicy, full of flavor, and filling!
I had tried to place an order on the phone, and being as busy as they were they couldn't answer at the time. I figured id just go down anyways to order in person and wait. On my way there they called me back and took my order and when I arrived gave me a free dessert!! I highly recommend for their food and service.! Try the smorea tres leches!
It’s been awhile since I’ve met an owner/operator as kind as Fernando. Had stopped in to pick up an order but had never tried a birria taco before and figure it was about time. Not only can you see the passion in the food being made but you can taste it. The first bite, you’re unsure if you want to pause and savor it or immediately consume it sell. Before leaving I was able to try the horchata which I believe was a coconut flavor, absolutely delicious. 10/10 will be a new staple to go to when I’m on that part of town.
Las Tapias is the best birria you'll find in Columbus! I find myself coming multiple times a week and I've never been disappointed. I usually get a monster quesadilla and this time I was given a free tres leches cake for a long wait I had due to him being the only one working the restaurant, let me tell you this was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. It was so good I had to come back a few days later and get me 2 more. I always receive amazing service here and the gentleman working is super kind and helpful. This place is easily my favorite restaurant in this area and they always deliver on the quality.
Best I ever had !!!! The owner is a great person who loves what he does !!! Great prices hot food good music I’ll be back any chance I’ get 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I noticed one of the contributors I follow on Google post about this restaurant. The photo looked delicious and I was surprised to see they have such high reviews, you can’t please everyone. Now I know why the reviews are so high. The food is juicy and flavorful. Fernando took our order and was really friendly. He has great customer service skills. He was telling us about how they use to be a food truck and worked up to this restaurant. I’m sure this is much better than having to find places to park the truck and easier for loyal customers to get their food. They have a smaller menu, but they have perfected the items they sell. I had gotten a variety of items for my family to try. The birria tacos were my favorite. They have the flour tacos and the corn shell tacos. They have a birria taco without a shell too, it’s keto friendly. The quesadillas are really good. I like the ramen too. Also, they have the horchata drinks in like 40 flavors, I’m not sure if it’s certain flavors available or if they are all always available. It tastes really good though. It’s a slightly sweeter drink. I’m already telling my friends and family about this place. We will be back
This is a hidden gem a true diamond in the rough! Featuring Sinaloa style beef birria (not goat or lamb), it still doesn't disappoint. The interior is cozy and reminiscent of California shop; which for me made me feel right at home. Pair that nostalgic feel with the flavors they pack in their tacos, ramen, consome & BAM! you have an instant classic. They ONLY offer birria but... that's how they can execute this wonderful symphony of beautifully seasoned slowly braised beef. My compliments to the owner and staff behind the counter. They make you feel right at home. Let's move on to the drinks, yes, they offer drinks! Pulling off a hat trick in this cozy spot they are able to offer us Margaritas, Caguamas (mexican "40s" really 32oz), Palomas, Jarritos, aguas frescas (Horchata in many options), and standard fountain drinks. I cannot stress enough how much you need to try this, the best part is it's wallet friendly prices are super fair considering. Enjoy Raza!
